The Guest House

This being human is a guesthouse

Every morning a new arrival.

A joy, a depression, a meanness,

some momentary awareness comes

as an unexpected visitor.

Welcome and entertain them all!

Even if they’re a crowd of sorrows,

who violently sweep your house

empty of its furniture,

The Guest House poem and photo blog by Sharon Birke www.PowerfulGoddess.com

still, treat each guest honorably.

He may be clearing you

out for some new delight.

The dark thought, the shame, the malice,

meet them at the door laughing,

and invite them in.

Be grateful for whoever comes,

because each has been sent

 as a guide from beyond.

    Dear Sharky,

Another beautiful model that you have chosen to share with us this week. I love the lighting in these photos. It shows off her beautiful curves and the shadowing on her body defines a sensual softness. The lacy knit dress looks amazing on her and the finishing touch is the setting.

Anyone can take a photo but it takes an artist like you to create what you do with your models and unselfishly share with your admirers, fantastic!

Have a happy Easter and Passover,

    Mountain
